DOWNSHIRE n. 19th century. A minor hillock with a light covering of down, i.e. a lady’s muff. Can also be used for the vagina.

DOXIES n, pl. 16th century. Prostitutes or female beggars. Possibly stems from the Middle Dutch word docke, which means doll.

EEL-POT n. 19th century. Vagina. Final destination for a man’s wriggling, trouser pet. Term suggests the female genitals’ use as a receptacle, the eel being the penis.
